Our style of Hypnotherapy is solution focused. This means that we concentrate on what you want for the future rather than going over the past. We use modern neuroscience and evidence-based research, which we share with you, so you understand exactly how it all works - there is no magic involved, though our results can feel like there is!
In our sessions, you will feel calm, deeply relaxed and grounded in tranquillity. You remain in control at all times as hypnosis is a state of trance which we all go into several times a day - for example when we swim, run or daydream. Just lay back and let your sub-conscious do all the hard work!
Hypnotherapy is proven to work just as well over video calls as face to face. We can arrange a Teams call if you are unable to attend in person at our Cambridge hypnotherapy room.
We can work with children and teenagers as well as adults. As an experienced teacher, we adapt sessions to suit the individual. There is no requirement to lie or sit still, hypnotherapy can be delivered whilst the child plays.
When requested, we are able to carry out hypnotherapy in different environments e.g.; whilst walking in nature if preferred, or in situ at an ice rink, swimming pool or sports field for performance therapy.

Hypnocoaching
We can introduce coaching where appropriate to help the child, once the child is happy to do so.
Hypnocoaching is ideal for any young person struggling with issues such as; emotional based school anxiety (EBSA), OCD, social or family relationship difficulties or low self-esteem/confidence as well as many other issues.

Sessions
After a FREE first call with parents we arrange the first session (which can be short and include parents), so that the child or teenager is able to get to know me, learn what coaching is and discuss how they want their sessions to look like. Then you decide whether or not to continue and book a program of coaching sessions.
Safeguarding
I have an up-to-date DBS certificate and attend regular safeguarding training.
As an ICF member and member of NCH and APHP, I follow strict ethical guidelines.
I also carry appropriate insurance.
